Christine Canova received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Art from Jacksonville University. She is currently a resident artist at the Tannery Row Artist Colony in historic Buford, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta.  Chris raised two children.  The struggle for one child to learn to read led her to create the children’s book What Happened That Day?.

Biking, swimming and walking the beach collecting shells and rocks are Chris’s favorite activities.  Above all else, Chris loves nature and the outdoors as reflected in her artwork.   Music speaks to her soul and inspires much of her artwork today as well.
